Today I drop off a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee that I was considering buying as a used vehicle. Jason and the team at The Shop Automotive did a great job giving me feedback on the car based on their used car inspection. They were quick and very thorough. The information was very helpful towards my decision-making on the vehicle. Thanks guys!!

Albeit Jason is a personal friend, He is one of the most honest hard working people I've met. He saved me hundreds of dollars in work that the dealer suggested I do. I highly recommend The Shop for any thing device or repair related. Friendly and honest, and not to mention quality work.

Do not go to this place if you have a nice German car. They overcharged me for a crazy price and resulted a worse condition when I brought it in. I called back and ask, no body seems care about my car and me after fixing. I just feel so sad and unhappy when I just bring the quote from this place to a different shop, my new place look at this quote and just go online point out the real cost and show me this place not only overprice but also changed a lot of unnecessary parts in my car, just due to lack of knowledge on fixing cars. Please do not go to this place, you should listen before you go.

Abner, we are having trouble finding any kind of record of your last visit. The name of our business (The Shop) can sometimes be mistaken for a category, which often causes us to be mistaken for other businesses, when we are found online. Are you sure you have the right place? If that's not the case, we would love to hear back from you directly to see how we could have done things differently.

All these good reviews must be from close friends or relatives because all this shop wanted to do was fix everything on my car EXCEPT what I brought it in for.

Hi Brian. I reviewed your repair order from June. I would first like to apologize if you didn't feel that your immediate concerns were addressed. Obviously, handling specific concerns that you have is my first priority. However, it appears as though we estimated the repair you requested, which you declined along with a few others. I don't typically use the term "safety issue" very liberally, but the vehicle that you brought in for us to inspect had a lot of dangerous failures across various systems. Specifically, the wiper blades, drive belt, and some suspension components were in such a severe state of failure, that I didn't feel comfortable with myself or my employees operating the vehicle. I certainly wouldn't want to be implicated with servicing a vehicle that could cause or be involved in an accident and I advised you appropriately. I believe the issue at hand is we politely declined to service the vehicle if at least the glaring safety issues were not addressed. Once again, very sorry if you were not happy with your experience. If you ever need help in the future with a vehicle that is in a reasonable state of repair I would be happy to help you. Best, - Jason

I originally came in to have a Brake job... Total was 1700$!! John told me that radiator flush systems were bad and could cause worse problems to my 2010 F-150 that I needed to come in twice within the next month to have my radiator drained with a solvent and he wanted to charge me over 1000$!! to get my radiator flushed because next he was saying I needed to replace seals and hoses because that there was oil in my radiators reserve tank. I just took my truck into Meineke here in Boulder they charged me 150 to flush my radiator and they actually have a radiator flush machine! I didn't have to replace any seals or hoses and there was NOT ANY damn oil in my Radiator fluid. He was trying to tell me that I needed to have my brake fluid flushed as well or that it could cause my caliper to go bad... he wanted to charge another 150$ for this.. DONT GO HERE

This was one of the most thorough repair jobs I've ever had. John also took the time to show me some of the other issues (including ones the dealer missed earlier in the day) and help me figure out which ones are higher up on the list of necessary repairs, without a hard sell. He seemed to genuinely care about making my 4Runner last as long as possible and stayed super late to get my truck fixed that day. Super pleasant guys, super clean (and I mean CLEAN) shop, fair prices for quality work, and an all around great experience. I'll be driving the two hours it takes to get back to them for future repairs now that I've found them! Thanks John! My truck says thanks too! :) A+++

Love these guys! My fiance and I were passing through Boulder and needed a quality mechanic we could trust. We called around and went with these guys because they came in under the estimates of the other shops and seemed genuinely cool. We got our timing belt replaced on our 2005 Toyota Sienna and various other jobs done at the same time. These guys were fair, efficient, honest and did really good work to get us back out there on the road. Would definitely recommend them to anyone!!!
